There's no denying the friendship between Serena Williams and Meghan Markle. And though most friends share advice, Williams has made it clear she won't be giving the Duchess of Sussex parenting advice any time soon.

In an interview with BBC Breakfast at Wimbledon, the tennis star was asked whether or not she's had the chance to give Markle any parenting advice. At the event, the 23-time Grand Slam champion answered, "I never pass on words of wisdom."

"... I feel like everyone when they have a kid especially when you just have a baby is so difficult to just be," Williams continued. "Get through the first three months and then four months and then we can talk."

It looks the former "Suits" star has a few more months before she can expect advice from Williams. Markle’s son, Archie Harrison, who she shares with Britain's Prince Harry, was born on May 6, making him currently just eight weeks old.

Although the tennis star isn’t dishing out parenting advice, she did open up about her own experience with parenthood. Williams, who welcomed her first child with Alexis Ohanian, daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., in September 2017, explained that motherhood changed her.

“Becoming a mom has changed my perspective on a lot of things... I want to be this positive person for my daughter... everything I do I want to do it for my daughter and I never obviously has that motivation before,” she admitted.
