'Heroes Reborn' Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'Under The Mask'?

It's been over five years since we've seen "Heroes" on NBC, but the show returned with a bang Thursday night with "Heroes Reborn." Fans saw some familiar faces and were introduced to some new superhumans, but the mission remains the same - save the world. The stakes in the heroes missions will get higher in episode 3, titled "Under The Mask."

The synopsis for episode 3 reveals that the leader of the powerful company Renautas, Erica Kravid (Rya Khilstedt) will be introduced. Kravid is expected to be a villain who will target Evos to protect humans. The other Evo hunters, Luke (Zachary Levi) and Joanne (Judi Skekioni) are going to continue their mission of vengeance after escaping the Renautas facility and stealing Noah Bennet's (Jack Coleman) car.

After taking her warrior fighting skills into the real world, Miko (Kiki Sukezane) will continue to search for her father, but she'll run into some problems. Miko discovered the power of the samurai sword she found in her father's study in the premiere episode and how it also transports her into a video game world. Which world will Miko be searching in episode 3?

Emily (Gatlin Green) helped Tommy (Robbie Kay) figure out that when he thinks of a place before he uses his power, the object or person he makes disappear goes to that place. The friendship grows with Emily in episode 3 and Tommy will find some new popularity in school.

Bennet and Quentin (Henry Zeborwski) search for more answers after they discovered there is a glimmer of hope that Claire (Hayden Panettiere) might still be alive. The two new partners will see what other truths are out there as they look for Molly Walker (Francesca Eastwood) before Renautas finds her and uses her power to track down Evos. Bennet and Quentin won't be the only ones looking for answers as Carlos (Ryan Guzman) will keep looking for the person responsible for killing his brother, who was the masked vigilante El Vengador.

There was only a brief glimpse of Malina (Danika Yarosh) in the premiere, but it appears more will be revealed about this hero in "Under The Mask," as she will be guided by an unseen force. Malina is a delicate teenager who comes from a sheltered upbringing.
