'Heroes Reborn' Spoilers: What Happened In The Fall Finale? Episode 10 Recap Before The Show Returns
"Heroes Reborn" returns to NBC Thursday night and there are only three episodes left before the miniseries comes to a close. Noah Bennet (Jack Coleman) has gone missing and it will be up to Claire Bennet's (Hayden Panettiere) children - Tommy (Robbie Kay) and Malina (Danika Yarosh) - to stop Erica (Rya Kihlstedt). Before the heroes begin their final march towards saving the world in episode 11, "Send in the Clones," here's what happened in the November fall finale.
Noah and Malina were off to find Tommy when the finale began. Luke (Zachary Levi) wanted to join them, but Noah didn't trust him. Noah and Malina came across a big storm that threatened lots of people driving on the highway. Malina decided to use her power to make the storm disappear, but when she did, Noah was grabbed by an unseen time traveler and taken somewhere. Luke found Malina on the highway and now the two will try to get to Tommy.
Erica spent episode 10 trying to convince Tommy that she wasn't a bad person and there was no stopping the apocalypse. They traveled to the future where Erica showed him her plans and the facility where humanity can live on, at least the one's she finds worthy of being saved. It seemed Tommy was starting to be convinced by her words, but then Miko (Kiki Sukezane) showed up and rescued him from Erica. Miko was sent by Hachiro Otomo (Hiro Kanagawa), who said this was part of her final mission.
Former hero turned villain Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) also had a busy finale. Parkman was trying to get Malina's location out of Farah (Nazneen Contractor) and tried using her former lover, Carlos (Ryan Guzman), to get her to talk. However, the Hero Truthers, consisting of The Haitian (Jimmy Jean Louis) and Taylor (Eve Harlow) cause a distraction and Parkman never gets his answers. Carlos and Farah will now team with the Hero Truthers to escape Parkman's Renautas facility, Sunstone Manor, in episode 11.
The fall finale also gave fans their first look at a hero from the past, Micah (Noah Gray-Cabey). Micah is being held captive at Sunstone and the Hero Truthers were there to try and break him out. Their mission will continue as they face-off against Harris Prime (Clé Bennett) and an army of his clones.
"Heroes Reborn" returns Thursday, Jan. 7 on NBC at 8 p.m. EST.
