For car buyers looking to purchase a Corvette on the cheap, Hertz (HTZ) has an offer that may be of interest. The rental car company is reportedly offloading a number of 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z06s at a discounted price.

The Z06s have a yellow and black livery, taking from Hertz’s signature colors, and are selling around the $60,000 range, Jalopnik reported. A new 2019 Corvette Z06 sells for nearly $93,000, and Hertz is selling more than 20 of the car models for well under that price tag, as listed on Autotrader.

Hertz is reportedly considering filing for bankruptcy as its car rental business declines because of the lack of travel during the coronavirus pandemic. The company is losing cash fast with rentals down and has put a halt to nearly all of its new car orders for 2021.

Now, it seems Hertz is looking to dump some of its rental car fleet, including the Corvette Z06, which it has put on the used car market. Hertz purchased the fleet of Z06s in 2018 to mark its 100th anniversary, The Drive reported.

The Corvette Z06 produces 650 horsepower from a supercharged LT4 V8 powertrain and can hit 60 mph in 2.95 seconds. Top speed on the car is 195 mph.

Shares of Hertz stock were down 4.7319% as of 2:30 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
