KEY POINTS
- Hilaria Baldwin shared a photo of the newest addition to their family on Instagram
- Hilaria didn't mention if the baby was adopted or was born via a surrogate
- Alec Baldwin's wife said her kids love to have a new sibling because they love babies
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin just welcomed their sixth baby together.
Hilaria shared a photo with her five children and a newborn child on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote no. 7, a red heart and a camera emoji while tagging her husband Alec, who took the photo.
Hilaria turned off the comments section in her post, but several outlets reported that it was an announcement about the arrival of her sixth child, who arrived just five months after she delivered her baby no. 5.
The couple is already parents to five kids — sons Eduardo, Romeo Alejandro David, 2, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 4, and Rafael Thomas, 5, and daughter Carmen Gabriela, 7. Alec is also a dad to Ireland, 25. The no. 7 in Hilaria’s caption could refer to the number of her husband’s kids in total.
In November, Hilaria spoke with People and said during the time of COVID-19, they felt like they were done expanding their family. The people kept on asking her about it, but she wasn't sure what to say. However, her children are excited to welcome another member in the family.
"My kids are used to new siblings coming in, so they're already like, 'When is the next one going to come?' And I'm like, 'Guys, you and the entire world need to stop asking me that!'" Baldwin told People.
"They've been really great, though. They love [Edu]. They love babies. It's actually really amazing to watch them because I know that they're going to be the kind of adults who are really good with kids because they just know so much.”
Hilaria didn't make any post about expecting another baby. It is also unclear whether their sixth child was born via a surrogate or was adopted, CBS News reported.
Hilaria made headlines earlier this year for allegedly pretending to be a Spaniard. Spanish-American artist Charo reacted to the controversy and said Hilaria was probably obsessed with the Spanish heritage the way Charo was into speaking the best English. Charo was born in Murcia, Spain and she has a strong Castilian accent.
There's one thing in Hilaria that Charo was very impressed of. The latter praised the former for having many kids.
"I’m impressed that she has so many babies! When I was pregnant I looked like a watermelon with high heels," Charo said.
