Hilary Duff Baby: Singer Gives Birth to Boy Luca Cruz Comrie

Hilary Duff gave birth to a baby boy!

Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy, Duff, 24, said on Twitter. The singer married Mike Comrie, 31, in August 2010. Luca is their first child.

We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world . . . he is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well, the post said.

Nearly two weeks ago, Duff poked fun at her burgeoning belly with an outtake made with Funny or Die, a comedy video website.

The video, called Hilary Duff's Pregnancy Secrets, showed the singer and actress revealing the side effects of pregnancy, including morning sickness, weight gain and tons of body hair . . . SERIOUSLY hair everywhere.

After I got pregnant, my hormones caused so much hair growth that I felt like a yeti . . . or, Robin Williams, Duff adds in the video.

Duff and Comrie wed after dating for nearly three years. On their first anniversary, she announced her pregnancy on her website.

I can't believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that . . . BABY MAKES THREE!!! she wrote.

Since Duff announced Luca's birth, well wishes have poured in from family, friends and fans on Twitter.

Her sister, Haylie Duff, wrote, Congrats to @HilaryDuff and Mike! We are so blessed to welcome Luca in to the world! #ProudAunt.
