DUBAI: The Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited (DME) has announced the trading and processing schedule for Good Friday, 2008, as outlined below (all references to the time are expressed on a twenty four hour clock and refer to the time in New York):

Thursday 20 March, 2008 (Maundy Thursday)

ClearPort and reg Clearing and DME Direct and trade will be open until 17:15 (for the 20 March 2008 trade date). Electronic markets will not reopen for the overnight session. Large trader reporting for 20 March 2008 trade date for any DME Clearing Member due by midnight.

Friday 21 March, 2008 (Good Friday)

No DME Daily Settlement Price or Post Close Settlement Price will be published. No trading or clearing will occur. NYMEX ClearPort and reg Clearing and DME Direct and trade are closed for trading until 17:15 on Sunday 23 March 2008. The DME Trading Floor is closed.

NYMEX ClearPort and reg Clearing and DME Direct and trade will reopen for trading/trade submission at 18:00 on Sunday 23 March 2008. (for the 24 March 2008 trade date).

Monday 24 March 2008 (Easter Monday)

Normal schedule resumes for all systems and products.

Banking for 20 March 2008 clearing cycle will occur. The DME Trading Floor will be open.
