Forbes magazine released its list of the highest paid actresses last year and Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker were in the top spots as they both earned $30 million last year.
Jolie had a successful year with her thriller Salt, which took in $300 million and The Tourist, also starring Johnny Depp, which took in $280 million.
As for Parker, most of her earnings came from reruns of her hit TV series Sex and the City, as she is one of the producers. She also had a major hit with the Sex and the City film which raked in $290 million in international box office.
People may be surprised to see Sarah Jessica Parker up there but they may not realize that in addition to acting, she earns big from her perfumes and endorsement deals, said Forbes' Dorothy Pomerantz. According to Forbes, Parker made $18 million in 2010 from her perfume line alone.
Following Jolie and Parker are Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon who each made $28 million.
