Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson flaunted her college acceptance letter on social media to prove her haters wrong.

The 16-year-old reality star took to Instagram Monday to upload a redacted version of her acceptance letter to Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia.

“Congratulations! On behalf of the entire GMC Bulldog Family, it is my honor to offer you acceptance to the Georgia Military College Dual Enrollment Program for the 2022 Fall I Term,” read the visible portion of the notice.

The former “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star did not say much in her caption. She just accompanied her post with the words “brains & beauty.”

Shortly after sharing the good news, Alana’s post received a flurry of congratulatory messages from her fans and followers. Many expressed their joy for her new milestone.

“OMG, Alana! I have been watching since you were on ‘Toddlers & Tiaras!’ Congratulations, my love,” one fan wrote.

“Girl, you did that during COVID and with all the family stuff and being on TV. Great job [Honey Boo Boo]!” another added.

“Yes, young lady!!! Congratulations! Keep up the good work, it’s only the beginning! You are going to do great things,” a third user commented.

When a fan asked her what she wanted to pursue after completing the program, the “Mama June: Road To Redemption” star revealed that she’s taking “neonatal nursing.”

It was not the first time Honey Boo Boo voiced her aspirations outside of her reality TV career. In a feature story for Teen Vogue published last year, she admitted that she thought of working as a nurse after graduating college.

In the same interview, she detailed how she was planning to continue doing reality television due to the huge paycheck that comes with it. She added that she was thinking of moving out at 18 and purchasing a car and a house of her own by then.

In May, Honey Boo Boo received flack for dating a 20-year-old college student named Dralin Carswell. Many were not pleased to know about their romance due to the age difference between the two.

In Alana’s defense, Mama June, 42, pointed out that her daughter was turning 17 later this year, and she’s graduating high school soon. She also maintained that there was nothing wrong with Alana and Dralin dating.
