Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon showed off her younger sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s close bond with Pumpkin’s husband Joshua Efird on Father’s Day.

On Sunday, Pumpkin, 22, shared a series of snaps on her Instagram to pay tribute to her 25-year-old husband. Among the photos was an image showing her tightly hugging Alana, 16, as they lay on a bed. On the other side of the frame was Josh also giving his wife’s sister a warm hug.

Another picture showed Josh and Pumpkin posing with their kids, Ella Grace, 4, and Bentley Jameson, 11 months. Joining them was Alana and Pumpkin’s older sister, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, 25.

The photo series also included snaps of Josh posing with his mini-me. One of them showed Josh cuddling baby Bentley while sleeping in bed.

“Happy Father’s Day to the BEST father I’ve known. All my life I prayed God would send me someone I could have a family with and love forever, and he sent me you,” Pumpkin captioned the post.

She continued, “Thank you for being the best father to all of our babies, including Alana. You’ve never failed to show up and show the kids what a real man is. I’ll forever be thankful for you. Me and the kids love you so very much.”

The post quickly garnered a lot of comments from fans who couldn’t help but praise Josh for being a good father to his kids with Pumpkin and a father figure to Alana.

“He’s the best and very entertaining watching him on TV — you both do such a great job of raising your own children and Alana,” one wrote.

“Josh has to be one of the best and most supportive fathers I’ve ever seen on TV. Happy Father’s Day, Josh,” another added.

“Alana is very lucky to have you both in her life. Josh, you [are] a wonderful father and brother/father [to] Alana,” a third user commented.

Earlier this month, Pumpkin won full custody of her younger sister. Court documents obtained by Page Six showed that aside from losing the custody of her youngest daughter, Mama June Shannon, 42, was also asked to pay child support for two years until Alana turns 18.

Mama June must pay Pumpkin $800 per month. She is allowed to make contact with Honey Boo Boo via telephone, but Pumpkin gets to decide the visitation rights.

The documents also revealed that Mama June earns approximately $25,000 per month, which is dependent on the production of their family’s reality show “Road to Redemption” and some endorsements, according to People.
