Call it irony or just bad luck. The well-known host of ‘To catch a Predator’ Chris Hansen, was caught cheating on his wife in a sting operation organized by the National Enquirer.

The 51-year old NBC anchor is allegedly having an affair with Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old WPTV reporter from Florida.

Hansen was caught on camera having dinner with Caddell at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manalapan, Florida and then was followed back to Caddell's apartment where he reportedly spent the night.

A source says that Caddell, is a former intern at NBC and 'there was an immediate physical attraction between them when they met.’

Hansen lives with his wife Mary, 53, and two children in Connecticut.

The host has been spending time in Florida investigating the disappearance of James 'Jimmy T' Trindade, the Enquirer reports.

To Catch A Predator is a show which catches online pedophiles along with police and advocacy groups’ help by posing as young women.
