Nick Viall got down on one knee and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi during “The Bachelor” finale. While their proposal was adorable, it’s the ring Bachelor Nation is obsessing over.

During Season 21, episode 10 of the ABC dating competition, Neil Lane sat down with Nick to pick out some jewelry. Together they weeded through several options. According to E! Online, Nick thought the ring was symbolic of his view on Vanessa.

“It’s a traditional ring with an old-fashioned feel. It’s got an old soul — it’s classic and elegant,” one source said. “He chose it because that’s what he thinks of her.”

Another source described it to E! as “very romantic.” The latest “Bachelor” engagement ring features a 4-carat center stone with a pave border. It’s valued at anywhere between $92,000 and $100,000.

Vanessa may be rocking the ring right now, but Bachelor Nation is none too convinced that she and Nick will last. In fact, some believe the pair are already broken up. After “The Bachelor,” ABC aired their “After the Final Rose” special Monday night and let’s just say it was a little awkward.

During the show Vanessa and Nick spoke about their engagement and their relationship. The pair revealed they had yet to set a wedding date. Nick and Vanessa told host Chris Harrison they were taking it slow and getting stronger as a couple.

“We’re taking baby steps,” Vanessa said. “We’re still in the process of really getting to know each other. We still have things to figure out, but we’re very optimistic about what the future holds.”
