‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 8 Synopsis

Annalise wants to run away from her problems, but on “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 6, episode 8, her attempt to save her loved ones before she skips town will have deadly consequences.

“Bonnie’s (Liza Weil) world is turned upside down when a mysterious accident leads her to a hard realization,” the “I Want to Be Free” synopsis teases.

In the promo video for the ABC series, Annalise (Viola Davis) appears concerned during a phone conversation with Bonnie. When Annalise calls out to her friend, Bonnie’s sounds frightened and asks Annalise for help.

In the previous episode, Annalise feared that if Nate (Billy Brown) filed a wrongful death suit against the governor, the truth about Miller’s death would be revealed. Nate (John Hensley) almost beat Miller to death when he learned the prosecutor may have been responsible for his father’s death.

When Bonnie saw what Nate had done, she killed Miller to protect him but was consumed by guilt. Although Annalise eventually learned Miller was innocent, she kept the truth from Bonnie to protect her.

Annalise feared Bonnie would hurt herself if she knew she killed the man she loved for no reason. Will Bonnie learn the truth about Miller’s innocence or will another revelation change her life?

“The students compete for a large cash bonus during the final exam, where they must come up with the best defense for a conspiracy-to-murder charge,” the “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 6, episode 8 synopsis says.

In the “I Want to Be Free” promo video, Annalise is heard saying they are all going to get killed if they keep this up. Although there are plenty of factors threatening to expose their crimes, the Keating four remain focused on graduating from law school.

The students will compete over a crime they are very familiar with. However, because Annalise will be murdered at some point during the season, will this defense be used by the killer during the murder investigation?
