If you are looking for a little holiday getaway, you may be in luck. Southwest Airlines is offering a winter sale on flights that can get you to your destination for as little as $49.

The Takeoffs To Touchdowns sale, which runs through Dec. 13 at 11:59 p.m., is valid on national fares with travel from Dec. 18 to May 22, 2019. International travelers can book flights from Jan. 8 to March 6, 2019, and also from April 23 to May 16, 2019. Travel to Puerto Rico is valid from Jan. 14 to Feb 28, 2019, and also from April 23 to May 16, 2019.

The flights are also nonrefundable so make sure you are certain of your travel plans before you book and there are some blackout dates that do apply. Also, you will need to book your flights at least 14 days in advance to get in on the deal, so forget those last-minute getaway trips.

The Southwest sale is only for one-way, non-stop service, but you may be able to find a return flight home for a similar price. Also, it will help you get the lowest price on flights if your travel plans are somewhat flexible.
