Finally, WarnerMedia has struck a deal to add HBO Max to Roku (ROKU) platforms, starting Thursday.

More than 10,000 hours of content from HBO Max as well as Warner Bros. DC, Adult Swim, and more will be available to Roku users on the app.

To get the HBO Max channel on Roku, users can find it in the “New and Notable” and “Movies & TV” categories located in the Roku channel stores. From there it can be added to the Roku home screen.

For Roku users that have already subscribed to HBO Max through their Roku devices, the app will automatically update to allow them to login with their existing HBO credentials.

The cost of the streaming app for new subscribers is $15 per month.

Roku users will have access to the debut of “Wonder Woman 1984” as it releases in theaters as well as on HBO Max on Christmas Day at no additional cost.

Other programming on HBO Max ranges from popular series such as “Game of Thrones” and “The Sopranos” to new series such as“ Lovecraft Country” and “The Undoing.” HBO Max also offers binge-watching TV episodes of “Friends,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “The Big Bang Theory,” and new originals “The Flight Attendant” and “Search Party.”

Warner Bros. also announced that starting in 2021, all movie debuts will run on HBO Max for 30 days alongside their theater debuts, including “The Matrix 4,” “Mortal Kombat,” “The Suicide Squad,” and “Space Jam: A New Legacy” films.

Roku was one of the last holdout platforms to receive HBO Max, which launched in May. WarnerMedia announced that Comcast's Xfinity was receiving HBO Max on Tuesday and a PlayStation 5 announcement was made early Wednesday, leaving Roku fans to wonder when they were getting the app and if it would be in time for the release of “Wonder Woman 1984.”

“Reaching mutually beneficial agreements where Roku grows together with our partners is how we deliver an exceptional user experience at an incredible value for consumers and we are excited by the opportunity to deepen our longstanding relationship with the team at WarnerMedia,” Scott Rosenberg, senior vice president, Platform Business at Roku, said in a statement.

Shares of Roku were trading as of $345.85 as of 10:05 a.m. EST, up $20.03 or 6.15%.
