How To Get A Trump Cap: Donald Trump’s Campaign Selling ‘Official’ Presidential Headwear
You can now get your hands on Donald Trump’s presidential cap for $40 on the president-elect's campaign website.
As the Republican nominee campaigned across the country during the run up to the Nov. 8 election, he was often spotted wearing his signature “Make America Great Again” cap, which cost between $25 or $30. The cap could also be seen on numerous Trump supporters who attended his rallies.
The new design gives customers color options — white, red and a camouflage print— with “USA” inscribed in large letters on the front. The left side of the cap has an American flag, while the right side features the number 45 — as Trump will be the 45th president of the United States. “Trump” is printed at the back of the cap, just like in the “Make America Great Again” version.
Trump was first spotted with the cap Nov. 27 when he was photographed leaving his estate in Palm Beach, Florida. According to the President-elect’s campaign website, it is “the only place online to purchase the Official USA rope hat worn by 45th President-Elect Donald J. Trump, himself,” and that the item is “Proudly Made in USA.”
Following Trump’s election, the campaign website added a new line of official apparel and souvenir items to its existing collection. One of these is a Christmas ornament mini-version of the “Make America Great Again” cap, priced at $99 on the website.
The money from purchases made on the campaign website will go to a joint fundraising committee run by the Trump campaign in collaboration with the Republican National Committee, the site says.
