‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers: Episode 18 Synopsis Leaked Online; Will Barney's Hangover Ruin His Wedding In 'Rally'? [VIDEO]

The “How I Met Your Mother" series finale is so close we can actually taste Barney and Robin’s wedding cake now. But we should probably start curbing out cravings considering the beloved CBS show is going on a short hiatus until Feb. 24. So what are fans supposed to do until episode 18, “Rally,” airs on the small screen? Well, they’ll be searching for spoilers of course! And that's where we come in:

Episode 18 will find Barney suffering from "the world's worst hangover the morning of his wedding." According to the show’s official synopsis, "the gang tries to figure out the far-fetched ingredients to concoct the Stinson Hangover Fixer Elixir.”

Oh no! Were sure this is going to upset Robin more than the “ring-bear.”

When we last saw Barney, he had stumbled out into Farhampton only to come across two awkward looking guys named Justin and Kyle. With no suave or confidence, Barney took the two gents under his perfectly tailored wing in attempts to hand over the bro baton and pass down the iconic book of plays. This way, Barney’s prodigies would be able to keep the legend alive.

And although Justin and Kyle were most appreciative for Barney’s drunken guidance, we think Robin is going to be pretty peeved when she sees her fiancé is too sick to meet her at the end of the aisle.

So, what’s in store for the “How I Met Your Mother” gang in episode 18? Earlier this month, “HIMYM” creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays decided to take to Reddit to tease fans with what’s to come in the remaining episodes of the ninth and final season. And according to the duo, viewers can expect a lot of flash-forwards into the cast’s future.

“[We] will see more and more flash-forwards in the remaining 8 episodes,” Thomas revealed. “There’s an episode called “Rally” coming up in a few weeks where we do a whole bunch -- everyone gets a flash forward peek into the near and far future.”

We can’t wait! We have a feeling the hiatus is going to be worth it when “How I Met Your Mother” makes its way back into our homes. What flash-forwards do you think will occur? Will Robin leave Barney and find herself a new, sober man? Or, perhaps the flash-forwards will show what the entire gang’s life will be like if Barney and Robin don’t get married?
