‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 9 Spoilers: Watch Barney Have A Suit Meltdown Before His Wedding In Episode 19, 'Vesuvius,' Promo Video

“How I Met Your Mother” is on tonight, which means Barney and Robin’s big wedding moment is getting closer. And according to episode 19’s promo, the groom is definitely starting to feel the pressure of seeing his wife-to-be walk down the aisle. In “Vesuvius,” Barney will have a complete meltdown while preparing to marry the Canadian beauty -- and of course, the freak-out will be over what suit he's going to wear when he finally says “I do.”

In the trailer for episode 19, we see Ted throwing suit-after-suit at Barney.

“Say yes to the suit!” Ted screams, begging him to just pick an outfit.

“I can’t!” the picky character cries back to his best bro.

What Barney’s deal? Well, besides being a bit obsessive over tailored ensembles -- the future husband of Robin want’s to sport the perfect suit on the day of his wedding.

“There are so many great ones to choose from,” Barney says, sounding distressed as he filed through the plethora of hanging outfits.

“Well, how about this one?” Ted asks.

“Yes, yes. That’s the one!” Barney replies. “Oh hey, quick question. Is it weird to get married in a suit you may have worn while banging a female rodeo clown?”

Ted then pulled out a curly rainbow hair piece.

“I know what you’re wondering. Yes, the carpet matched the drapes,” Barney quipps.

“Of course that’s weird," Ted says, disgusted. “Every part of that is weird.’

But it wasn’t as strange as the next suit Ted pulls out.

“Let’s just say I stuffed a lot of bunnies in that suit,” Barney says with a menacing laugh. Nauseated, Ted reprimands his friend’s racy ways.

“Actual bunnies, Ted,” Barney clarifies. “This is my magic suit. Get your mind out of the gutter. Though, I did once wear it to the Playboy holiday party and let’s just say I stuffed a lot of bunnies in that suit.”

While Barney continues freaking out over which suit to be married in, Robin couldn’t care less. Could their obvious differences be something that could potentially ruin their wedding day? With a title like “Vesuvius” we’re anticipating the worst. Vesuvius is the name of a stratovolcano in the Gulf of Naples and is best known for its eruption in AD 79 that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Could “HIMYM” creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, be using the episode name as a way to foreshadow destruction? Will fans see a huge blow-out between characters tonight?
