The CyanogenMod (CM) 10.1 RC2 custom ROM based on the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware update is now available for the HTC One X. Users of the particular handset can now update their device to the latest Android version by installing the custom firmware build.

Being an unofficial version, the CM10.1 RC2 requires a custom recovery like ClockWorkMod installed in the device in order to flash the ROM zip file. Users should also keep in mind that the bootloader of the HTC One X must be unlocked. For more information, click here.

Moreover, CM10.1 RC2 is a nightly build. Therefore, users may encounter FC errors, boot loops and other bugs. However, all these issues are expected to be resolved as development progresses. Reinstalling stock firmware and any other stable custom ROM can also help fix these issues, a Team Android report said.
