How Ivanka Trump's Style Has Changed Since Leaving White House: Report
KEY POINTS
- Ivanka Trump ditched her heels for flats and switched her glamorous outfits with more low-key ensembles post-White House
- Trump has favored beachside-style outfits following her relocation to Florida
- She was recently spotted wearing midi-length and caftan dresses
Ivanka Trump has switched her glamorous ensembles and power suits for more low-key outfits since leaving the White House and moving to Florida following the end of her father Donald Trump's presidency, a report says.
Following her stint as senior White House adviser, there has been a dramatic change in Trump's wardrobe, according to SheKnows. The outlet noted that she has ditched heels for mostly flat shoes and has been opting for more comfortable and casual outfits.
In February, Trump was photographed in a white rolled-sleeve blouse, dark-wash skinny jeans, a straw wide-brim hat and a pair of black espadrilles when she stepped out of the condo she and husband Jared Kushner are renting in Miami’s Surfside neighborhood.
This was followed by another low-key look. Trump was pictured lounging on her balcony in a sleeveless red and black striped midi-length dress with a scooped neckline and slit. In photos published by FootwearNews, she accessorized the outfit with sunglasses and a white pearl single-strand necklace.
Just days later, she was spotted in another beachside-style ensemble that included a printed blue and white caftan dress and classic white skinny jeans, FootwearNews reported.
Meanwhile, last week, Trump stunned in a red-and-white coral-pattered swimsuit with a matching cover-up when she, her husband and their three children headed to the beach in Miami. She accessorized with dark sunglasses.
Trump has also been spotted hitting the golf course a few times since leaving the White House. Earlier this month, she sported a white golf skirt with black detailing and a matching tank top, white sneakers and a plain white baseball cap for a golf lesson with Kushner in photos published by Page Six.
Trump’s current fashion looks are much more low-key compared to her outfits during her time in the White House where she used to wear towering heels and formal dresses or power suits in nearly every sighting, SheKnows noted.
Some of Trump's most iconic looks included the nautical-inspired navy dress by Oscar de la Renta and pink ruffled gown by Rodarte that she wore during French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte's state visit in 2018, per South China Morning Post.
On her last day of work in the White House, she donned an all-black attire comprising a double-breasted trench coat with an asymmetrical hem, shift dress and classic pumps.

Trump hired New York-based stylist Cat Williams in 2017. Williams' resume includes a 2.5-year stint with celebrity stylist Micaela Erlanger, who styled Meryl Streep and Lupita Nyong'o, before she decided to strike out on her own, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
