Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara are, without a doubt, one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. Their relationship may look perfect from the outside looking in, but a love like theirs takes work.

During a recent interview with Ocean Drive, Manganiello opened up about outside pressures. The “Magic Mike XXL” actor says paparazzi make high-profile relationships daunting, but Vergara’s worth it. The pair knew the road to love wouldn’t be easy and discussed it before going public. Their secret? Being secure in what they have.

“All that pressure has just brought us closer together,” he told Ocean Drive. “It’s not something that we welcome into our lives. We try to stay private. At the end of the day, it’s really nobody else’s business but ours. It’s just that I love her and she loves me and here we are. And there is a price for that, when living in the public eye.”

At the end of the day, Manganiello wouldn’t do it for anyone else in the world. He called the lack of privacy in Hollywood, “a really insidious side of the business.” The 40-year-old told Ocean Drive there are just some people who “want to interfere.”

“They want to write things that hopefully will instigate trouble in your relationship so they can sell magazines or get clicks,” he said.

Although Manganiello and Vergara are rock solid, they’ve been the subject of rumors. In May 2016, while recovering from an appendectomy, Manganiello found himself making headlines in the National Enquirer. The publication claimed that Vergara, 44, was struggling to trust her husband after finding him flirting with hospital staff.

Those rumors were quickly debunked by Gossip Cop. The outlet reported that Manganiello was not caught flirting with anyone during his hospital visit. He and Vergara are stronger than ever.

The pair married in November 2015. Their wedding was a multi-day ordeal in Florida. Family and friends joined them in celebration before they jetted off to Turks and Caicos for their honeymoon.
