Kate Middleton has reportedly upstaged Queen Elizabeth II.

There may be years or even a decade and more before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will become the new king and queen consort because Prince Charles is the heir apparent. However, their fans are very excited for that day and can’t stop talking about Middleton being the future queen.

According to Express, Middleton has upstaged Queen Elizabeth II as she shows that she is ready for her future role. Middleton has been a member of the royal family for eight years already and many observed that the duchess has changed and her confidence has improved.

An insider said that Prince William’s wife is more open and relaxed. The source added that Middleton has found her voice in helping mothers and children everywhere.

Royal correspondent Emily Andrews also praised Middleton when she delivered a speech during her visit to the Back to Nature festival in Woking, Surrey on Tuesday. According to Andrews, the Duchess of Cambridge did a “lovely job.”

Unlike her sister-in-law Meghan Markle, Middleton is not as good in public speaking. In fact, according to royal body language expert Judi James, the Duchess of Sussex did well in her first public speaking event compared to the Duchess of Cambridge.

For James, Markle’s profession as an actress helped her ace the job. Meanwhile, Middleton appeared very shy when she did her first public speaking engagement.

“I don’t know if you saw Kate Middleton’s first speech that she made, but she was painfully shy. I think it was to children, you could see that she’d had training, she’d been told to pause. She hadn’t taken control of the situation, she hadn’t decided to be herself,” James said.

Apparently, things have changed. Middleton has learned how to face the people with confidence. She is no longer the shy royal that the public saw when she was still new in the royal family.

As for upstaging the Queen, the monarch might not feel bad about it because she knew from the start that Middleton is not the type who wanted to garner extra attention for herself. In fact, this is among the reasons why Her Majesty is very fond of Prince William’s wife, royal reporter Ashley Pearson said.
