Get ready to enjoy Taylor Swift's upcoming "Midnights" album while eating a handful of her special chai sugar cookies.

Ahead of the 32-year-old "Lover" singer's most-awaited comeback, the recipe for her chai cookies is making rounds on the internet once again.

Over six years ago, social media user @justbrothings re-posted the moment the Grammy-winning musician revealed the secret to making this sweet treat on Tumblr when social media user @imnotsomefloozy requested the recipe.

"We need a recipe for this please," the user wrote, tagging the musician and attaching a screenshot of her post, which she shared via Instagram, of the chai sugar cookies with cinnamon eggnog icing.

Swift surprisingly responded to the request with a step-by-step process of the special recipe.

"There are two ways you can go about this," Swift stated.

She continued, "The quick and easy way is to make sugar cookies from a sugar cookie mix and just cut open a packet of chai tea and pour it into the batter as you make it. [Because] you're busy, and you want making cookies to be a chill part of your day. Pow. Done."

But the musician gave another lengthy option for those who want to make the cookies from scratch, which was what she did while filming "1989 Secret Sessions" over the course of several weeks in September and October 2014.

Swift shared that she found the sugar cookie recipe from joythebaker.com, which she believed was originally from the book "The Pastry Queen: Royally Good Recipes From the Texas Hill Country's Rather Sweet Bakery and Cafe" released in 2004 by authors Rebecca Rather and Alison Oresman. She also suggested checking out the "insanely good" sugar cookie recipe from smittenkitchen.com.

The musician said she added the chai element on her own, believing it would "infuse cozy holiday [vibes] into a cookie."

For the sugar cookies recipe, Swift just included the link to Joy The Baker's giant sugar cookie recipe and said that after adding the egg and vanilla, prepare one chai tea packet and pour all the "crushed up leaves" into the batter. Then, she proceeded to share her icing recipe.

"I made icing for the cookies, but they're fine on their own. If you want to make icing for them, just mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 1/4 T-spoon of nutmeg, 1/4 T-spoon of cinnamon, and 3 [tablespoons] of milk or eggnog if you can find it this time of year. The more milk/eggnog you add, the more your icing will become a glaze. But glazes are legit too so basically just LIVE YOUR LIFE," the musician noted.

She continued, "I lightly sprinkled cinnamon over the icing once the cookies were baked and iced, but there are so many icing options you can pair with these cookies—I mean it's out of control." She then suggested adding a few drops of food coloring to make the icing "festive."

"Midnights" will release on music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, this Friday.
