How Melania Trump Has Been Ignoring President Donald’s Sweet Gesture [VIDEOS]

Melania Trump has been ignoring President Donald Trump’s effort to hold hands in public.

The first lady of the United States sparked marital feud rumors when she and the POTUS made an appearance the NCAA College Football Championship. In a clip, Melania can be seen smiling, but her facial expression turns into a grimace when Trump reaches out to hold her hand. There are also some clips where Melania is seen pulling her hands from her husband.

It turned out that it wasn’t the first time the FLOTUS did it. Tasneem, a reporter at BuzzFeed News shared a clip of Trump and Melania caught in 2017. In the video, Melania goes out of the plane ahead of Trump. The latter reaches out to hold her hand. She declines to lock their fingers and when they stop before they descend the airstair both of their hands are placed on their sides. They didn’t hold hands despite the POTUS’ efforts.

In the same year, the POTUS and FLOTUS were caught on camera landing in Tel Aviv. Both are walking on the read carpet with Trump ahead of Melania. The president looks back at his wife and extends his hands to his wife, but Melania shockingly just slaps it away.

Also, when the Trumps arrived in Rome in 2017, several cameras waited for them at the airport. Before deplaning, the POTUS and FLOTUS stops at the top of the airstair and wave at the crowd. When Trump puts his hand down, he reaches out to hold his wife’s hand, but Melania strategically touches her well-trimmed hair to avoid holding hands with her husband.

In related news, Trump and Melania will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. It remains unknown how the first couple will celebrate their marriage milestone.

Last year, Trump and Melania didn’t make a noise on social media. Express found it surprising for the POTUS to not mention the event especially that he is very involved on Twitter. Melania did the same and didn’t mention it on her account either.
