While the Administration of President Donald Trump has been secretive with how much golf he plays, Sunday marked his 37th day at one of his own golf courses according to NBC. In his first 170 days in office, Trump has spent time at one of his golf courses for 21.76 percent of them. He has visited a Trump property on 51 of the days.

Trump arrived at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia Sunday shortly after 10 a.m., according to The Hill. That marks Trump’s 12th visit to that course. He’s been to Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida 13 times, Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey 12 times and Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida once.

In addition to these trips to his golf courses, Trump has been to Mar-a-Lago 25 times and to his Washington D.C. Hotel four times.

These trips to the golf course are a turnaround from Trump’s campaign rhetoric. Ahead of the New Hampshire Primaries Trump said he’d never play golf.

“I love golf, but if I were in the White House? I don't think I'd ever see Turnberry (Scotland golf course) again, I don't think I'd ever see Doral again,” he said according to NBC. “I’d just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off and make great deals.”

Trump’s press office has tried to obscure how much the President plays, so it’s hard to get an accurate number of times he plays while at one of his courses. In February there was an incident where one of his golf partners outed the president.

“I know he played a couple of holes this morning but I am not going to disclose any of the others that were there,” said Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a press conference about a February 19th outing.

Trump was playing with professional golfer Rory McIlroy who told a golf blog that he hit a full-18 with the president. Huckabee Sanders, when confronted with the info, had to amend her statement.

“(He) intended to play a few holes and decided to play longer,” she said.

Trump was often a frequent critic of former President Barack Obama’s golf trips. Politifact stacked up what it knows about Trump’s golfing through social media hints and reporter’s anecdotes and compared it to Obama, who would regularly report when he was playing and who he was playing with. As of July 5, Trump outpaced Obama’s eight times hitting the links with his own 19. According to the New York Times in April, Trump outpaced Obama, George Bush and Bill Clinton in the starts of their administrations.

Obama played golf once every 8.8 days and in March the Washington Post reported that Trump was on track to have played every 5.5 days. Trump visited a golf course six times in his first month in office while Obama didn’t make his first golf trip until late April, according to CNN.

NBC reported that the cost of a trip to Palm Beach for the president ranges anywhere from $1-3 million.
