How To Pre-Order Joanna Gaines’ Children’s Book: Release Date, Price, Cover Revealed

On Tuesday, Joanna Gaines announced her second children’s book, “The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be.” The “Fixer Upper” alum teamed up with illustrator Julianna Swaney to create a book that would capture the interest of children and share a special message.

The book tells the story of a group of children who come together to build hot air balloons so they can fill the sky with a variety of beautiful colors. However, in the process of gaining a better understanding of the skills and working to complete the project, it is revealed that their project is a reflection of life.

The book shares the message that life is more beautiful and meaningful when differences are embraced and celebrated.

Although the book won’t hit stores until the fall, “The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be” is available for pre-sale. Those who don’t want to wait until the release can pre-order the book on Gaines’ Magnolia site for $19.99 plus an additional $5.95 for shipping.

“The goal was simply to convey a message that all of us need to hear—no matter who you are, or where you are from, or how old you are, or what you look like, or who you love, or what the color of your skin is, or what you believe in—the world needs you,” Gaines said in a blog post announcing the children’s book.

“It needs your abilities and your talents, your quirks, and your curiosities, your unique thoughts, and your beautiful mind. It needs you just the way you are.”

Gaines, who released her first children’s book “We Are the Gardeners” in 2019, revealed that her five children were the inspiration behind her latest creation, and she hopes her new project will have a positive impact on those who read it.

“This book is more than just a sweet story about a group of kids building their hot air balloons for a big adventure. It’s a declaration for seeing and celebrating the differences in one another,” she explained.

“It’s a proclamation for loving the person next to you for who they are as well as loving yourself for who you are. And it’s a reminder that the world needs both you and me.”

“The World Needs Who You Were Made to Be” is expected to be released on Nov. 10.
