How Prince Charles Sends ‘Happy Signals’ He’s Ready To Take Over Queen’s Role
Prince Charles has reportedly been sending happy signals that he’s ready to take over Queen Elizabeth II’s top job.
During her appearance on “This Morning,” royal expert Angela Mollard said that Prince Charles’ personality and attitude has been changing in preparation for his future role as King.
On his social media page, a hilarious photo of Prince Charles was uploaded, which was quite a surprise because Mollard said that the heir to the throne doesn’t really have a sense of humor.
“You can sort of see he is loosening up, he is very happy and relaxed in his life. Posting that speaks volumes I think… Everyone is focused on the younger generation, ‘We can do whatever we want,’” she said.
The royal expert went on to say that Prince Charles must also be very happy with the fact that Camilla Parker Bowles is no longer being criticized in public. It seems that a lot of people have warmed up to the idea that Camilla will be Queen when Prince Charles takes over the throne.
Prince Charles has been waiting for the day that he becomes King for several years now. The Queen is already 93 years old and even though she has slowed down in recent months, she still hasn’t retired.
The Queen has been the head of the monarchy for 66 years, and she’s also known as the longest-serving monarch of the United Kingdom. And even though Her Majesty has not announced her plans to abdicate, royal author Phil Dampier thinks that she will soon relinquish some of her powers to her eldest son.
“There are talks that when she reaches 95 in a couple of years she may slow down and possibly the Regency Act will be brought in. She will still be Queen but Prince Charles will, in fact, take over most of the duties,” he said.
However, other royal experts have also dismissed the possibility of the Queen relinquishing her powers to her son soon.
