When Meghan Markle began dating Prince Harry, she convinced him to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Once they were married, and she became pregnant with baby Archie, she persuaded him to make dramatic lifestyle changes, which included giving up alcohol.

While the decision will be beneficial to Harry’s health, a royal expert claimed the Duke of Sussex has a history of social drinking and struggled to refrain from having an alcoholic beverage, despite his agreement with Meghan.

Over the weekend, Prince Harry took a solo trip to Japan to support England during their rugby final against South Africa. However, royal commentator Neil Sean claimed the Duke of Sussex was spotted holding a bottle of beer during his visit.

During an appearance on the “Today” show, Sean jokingly suggested that Meghan may have confronted Prince Harry over his decision to have a beer, despite the couple’s decision to give up drinking.

“Prince Harry was over there for a flying visit to Japan, and he was there spurring them on.

“I saw him holding, let me tell you, a bottle of beer, so I don’t know how that’s going to go when he gets home to Meghan. Apparently, he doesn’t drink anymore, as all boys say,” he explained.

However, a royal insider told Express.co.uk that Harry welcomed the opportunity to make a lifestyle change, but implied it would be a challenge. “Considering he’s been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teen, it’s quite an achievement,” the insider said.

“All she did was show him there’s another way to live, and he’s become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn’t poison his body, exercises, does a bit of yoga, and is a lot happier.”

Other than the mishap during his solo trip, it appears Prince Harry has been following Meghan’s healthy lifestyle and has reaped the benefits.
