How Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Halloween Plans Changed After Archie’s Birth
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Halloween celebration this year is very different from how they commemorated the occasion years ago.
This year marks the first Halloween that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated with their son, Archie. However, the Sussexes didn’t go trick or treating.
But three years ago, Markle posted a cryptic photo of herself on Halloween. In the snap, the “Suits” alum covered her face with a huge carved pumpkin. A source also told The Sun at that time that it was Prince Harry’s first time to visit Markle in California when the photo was taken.
“She’d been to London several times but this was the first time he’d been to her home city. They haven’t been to bars or clubs because they were worried, they’d be spotted. Instead, it’s been cozy nights in with wine and good food. Harry loved every minute of it,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle aren’t the only members of the royal family who love to celebrate Halloween. Last month, an onlooker saw Kate Middleton with her two older children, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte, buying Halloween costumes at a local grocery store.
Even though there are no photos of the royal siblings in their Halloween costumes, the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge purchased them one means that they must have also gone trick or treating.
In 2007, the mom of three was also photographed wearing a vampire costume at the Halloween party that she attended with her younger sister, Pippa Middleton. Prince William’s wife wore a sequined mini skirt, fishnet stockings, and a black cape to the celebration.
The future Queen also let her hair down, and she carried a fuchsia bank throughout the entire night. Middleton’s younger sister revealed that she and her sister usually celebrate Halloween over supper with their closest friends.
In her book “Celebrate,” she said that Halloween is the perfect excuse to let a person’s imagination run wild.
