How Prince Harry’s Hair Loss Is Catching Up To Prince William’s Baldness

Prince Harry is losing his hair quite rapidly, and it seems that he is following his older brother Prince William’s footsteps.

While speaking with The Sun, hair expert Dr. Asim Shahmalak said that the Duke of Sussex actually started losing his hair when he was 20 years old. And when he and his brother were much younger, it appeared as though his baldness was slower to take off compared to the future king.

“But now, aged 34, he is catching up to his brother fast, particularly the crown area,” he said.

Prince Harry’s rapid hair loss is also being blamed on Meghan Markle. Even though Prince Harry and Markle are not related to each other biologically, the Duchess of Sussex is being blamed for her husband’s male pattern baldness because she is reportedly causing him too much stress.

While speaking with The Sun, hair expert Dr. Asim Shahmalak said that the Duke of Sussex is most likely stressed with juggling his royal duties with his marriage to the “Suits” alum, as well as fatherhood. Within the past few months, Prince Harry’s bald spot has grown.

But if hair loss can be blamed only on genetics then Markle will not be seen as the reason why Prince Harry is starting to become bald.

“A much more significant factor, though, is the strong baldness gene running through the whole Windsor family. It started with Prince Philip and has now been passed down to Prince Charles and on to his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry… William got it first and has the strongest baldness gene of all the royals,” he said.

When Prince Harry was much younger, he used to have thick hair. In fact, his hair was always thicker than Prince William. Even today, the new dad also sports a thick beard which suggests that his baldness may only be in his head area.

But even though his hair is still thicker than Prince William today, some royal fans think that his patches have made him less appealing.
