How Princess Beatrice Could Announce Her Engagement With This New Milestone
Princess Beatrice is rumored to be planning her engagement to her Italian property developer boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. And a royal source said that the couple’s announcement may coincide with an important milestone in the royal’s life.
While speaking with Vanity Fair, royal expert Katie Nicholl said that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s forthcoming engagement may call for some show-stopping styling. “No one can forget the garish hat she wore to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, which was unkindly compared to a toilet seat,” Nicholl said.
Since then, Princess Beatrice’s fashion choices have always been criticized.
A source previously told People that it was hard for Princess Beatrice and her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, to be criticized for their weight, fashion, and work lives. But as they got older, they have realized that they could do a lot of good with their royal status.
While speaking with Vogue, the 30-year-old royal said that she found humor in the criticisms she received after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s nuptials.
“My experience was about growing up and living in very public life and living in an overexposed environment. So that’s from being 18 and struggling with your weight to what fashion choices you are wearing… When everyone else was saying ‘you look ridiculous,’ you have to have a sense of humor,” she said.
Meanwhile, Nicholl also shared her observations about Mozzi. She said that Princess Beatrice’s boyfriend appears to be stylish, but he wasn’t the only reason why Princess Beatrice upped her game in the world of fashion.
Lady Emily Compton and fashion writer Olivia Buckingham have reportedly been working with Princess Beatrice behind the scenes. The duo is responsible for Princess Beatrice’s stunning pink dress at the Trooping the Colour last month.
In related news, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi have been dating for a couple of months. The two started out as friends before they decided to get into a relationship.
