Prince George is believed to be Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite great-grandchild since Her Majesty reportedly goes out of her way to spend time with the future King.

While speaking with The Sun, royal expert Richard Price revealed that the Queen also leaves presents at the foot of Prince George’s bed every time he stays over at the Buckingham Palace.

“It is telling that the Queen, who is expert at not appearing to have any favorites, goes out of her way to spend time with young George,” he said.

But even though Prince George may be the Queen’s favorite great-grandchild, it seems that she will have a more relaxed relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie.

While speaking with Express, royal expert Kat Hopps said that Archie will grow up to have a more normal life than his cousins. It is also possible that in the coming years, the Queen will develop a closer relationship with Archie because of his status.

Her Majesty shares a special relationship with her granddaughter, Zara Tindall, who is not considered as a working royal. The two female royals’ relationship is also less formal compared to the Queen’s relationship with her other grandchildren.

However, former royal staff Grant Harrold said that the Queen doesn’t play favorites among her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In related news, Prince George also made headlines recently after he celebrated his sixth birthday. Kate Middleton shared three new photos of her son via Kensington Palace’s official Instagram account.

After the release of the new photos, a royal expert said that Prince George was dressed to look like a normal boy from a council estate. While speaking with The Sun, Phil Dampier said that Prince William and Middleton have been wanting their kids to grow up without feeling that they are royals or that they are special.

“The football shirt is a nice touch because it portrays George like any other youngster, be they from a council estate or a palace,” he said.
