How ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Kenya Moore Changed Relationship With Marc Daly

In September 2019, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore announced she would be divorcing her husband, Marc Daly. However, it appears the reality star is hoping the two can work through their issues and save their marriage.

Since the premiere of “RHOA” Season 12, viewers have seen Kenya struggle to stay on good terms with Marc after the two welcomed their baby girl, Brooklyn Daly. Although Kenya admitted their marriage began to fall apart after their daughter’s birth, she claimed Brooklyn is also the reason their relationship has changed for the better.

During a conversation with SiriusXM’s Amy Phillips, Kenya revealed she has seen a positive change in her relationship with Marc.

“We are in a really good place right now. Our relationship has really taken a turn. He has been so kind to me, sweet, you know, ‘How’s your day? What’s going?’ Our relationship hasn’t been this good in a really long time,” the former pageant queen admitted.

Kenya told Phillips that Brooklyn’s first birthday, in November 2019, allowed her to work on her relationship with her husband.

“When I saw that we had an opportunity to co-parent and do it in a great way and be an example for Brooklyn, I said, ‘Let’s do the party together.’ We did, and we had a great time,” she said.

“I just think that really showed him that, you know, I’m not after him. I wanted a calm, peaceful home, and a great environment for my daughter. That’s all I want,” the former Miss USA contestant continued.

Kenya admitted it was important for her to shield her daughter from the woes in her marriage. “My heart is beating in another person and so, for me, all I have ever wanted to do protect her, and I will until the day I die,” the 49-year-old reality star explained.

“If that means protecting her from, just, negativity or anything in our home, then I’m going to do that,” she added.

Although Kenya and Marc aren’t back together, neither party has taken the legal steps to start the process of divorce.
