In Episode 5 of "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom," Poncho mastered the art of making a dish using gelin. He was excited to present his dish to Souma and the others.

Liscia and Aisha were skeptical because they never saw a gelin carcass. Poncho noted he trained with a small tribe and learned the trick to hit the gelin hard enough that its nucleus dies and what is left is just the remains of the outer membrane.

Later, Poncho and Juno also displayed their cooking skills by making udon noodles. Meanwhile, Hakuya became the new prime minister after Marx resigned.
