Souma will meet the three dukes in "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" Episode 9.

The official website has unveiled the synopsis and spoilers stills for Episode 9. Souma organizes a meeting with the three dukes and gives an ultimatum. He asks them if they wish to be on his side or prepare for a battle.

One of the dukes, named Excel Walter, agrees to side with Souma, but the other two – Georg Carmine and Castor Vargas – decide to fight back. What will be Souma's strategy against the revolting dukes?

In "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" Episode 9, a neighboring kingdom, called Amidonia, moves its troops further to instigate Souma.

In the previous episode, Souma said their technological systems appeared strange to him because of the existence of magic in this world.

He explained how this other world used the dragons' brute force to tow an iron vessel, adding that the world developed technology as it was needed.

Later, Souma and Liscia, who were inspecting the construction of a project, got an emergency message from Aisha's father regarding a disaster in his hometown.

"Kaede leads an engineering corps, including Halbert, in constructing a road. As the work detail receives a royal inspection from Souma and Liscia, an urgent message from Aisha's father arrives, informing them of a natural disaster in their homeland," reads the official synopsis of "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" Episode 8, according to Funimation.
