The "Dancing With the Stars" Season 28 cast has been hard at work on their premiere night routines. ABC/Justin Stephens

The big night is almost here, and the teams competing on Season 28 of “Dancing With the Stars” are working hard to make sure they bring their best routines to the floor for the big premiere, especially since they need to really impress the judges, who will be the only ones scoring the performances.

The pressure is on for the teams to impress the judges on the ABC competition series since they can’t count on viewer votes until Week 2—which will be when one of them becomes the first team eliminated.

Naturally, the pressure to not be eliminated first has led the celebs and their mystery pro partners to stay hard at work as they try to make a strong first impression. Here’s how they spent the last few weeks rehearsing and hoping they’ll be able to impress:

The former Fifth Harmony singer hasn’t been sharing too much about what fans can expect from her on social media (including who her partner is), but she did take time to strike a pose for her fans during one of her practices.

Christie Brinkley

The former model has been actively showing fans some behind-the-scenes looks at her rehearsals with fun videos that share how much she’s enjoying the experience. However, another post gave fans a small clue about her first routine as she and her partner struck a pose—though sadly, her fans are still going have to wait for the official announcement to see just who is hidden behind the sea of emojis.

Kate Flannery

The former “Office” star has been giving fans daily updates on the dancing experience so far and detailing that it is tougher than one might think. However, she’s also reiterating that she has a specific goal through her use of inspirational hashtags—she's out to prove that age is just a number, and anyone can become a dancer if they put their mind to it.

Kel Mitchell

The actor/comedian looks like he’s having fun as he practices his routine, sharing an image of himself (and his emoji covered partner) as they bust a move in the studio.

It looks like the former NBA/reality star is getting ready for a more proper routine in a post he shared of himself and his basketball covered partner, as they look to be practicing their hold.

Sean Spicer

The former Press Secretary seems to be having fun, despite knowing he’s ranked as the least likely celeb to take home the Mirrorball Trophy. Not only did he pose with his partner for one photo, but he also posted a video letting his fans know that just seeing his costume for night one alone is worth tuning in.

James Van Der Beek

The “Dawson’s Creek” and “Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23” actor is definitely working hard at trying to impress the judges—though he’s also making sure that real life does not imitate art and he doesn’t suffer the same fate as the version of himself he played on “Apartment 23.”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
