It's not too late to vote for the 2016 People's Choice Awards, which airs Wednesday night on CBS. CBS

The 2016 People’s Choice Awards is mere hours away but TV and movies fans still have the option to vote. As of Wednesday morning, the CBS award show’s website had several categories open ahead of the ceremony, which airs live at 9 p.m. EST.

While big categories, like Favorite TV Show, are closed, there are two categories that are still open. Viewers can vote for their Favorite New TV Comedy and Favorite New TV Drama ahead of Wednesday night’s show. Several hit series are up for the coveted awards in both categories. Fox’s cult hit “Scream Queens,” ABC’s “The Muppets,” CBS’s “Life In Pieces,” the CW’s “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” and John Stamos’ “Grandfathered” are among the TV Comedy nominees. NBC and CBS both have two series in the running for Favorite New TV Drama. “Heroes Reborn,” “Blindspot,” "Quantico,” “Supergirl,” “Code Black” are nominated.

So, how do you vote for the PCAs? Luckily for last-minute voters, the process is incredibly simple. The People’s Choice Awards does not require viewers to sign in to vote. Merely visit the voting portion of the PCA website and choose your winners — it’s that easy! You have the option to share your votes on social media via Facebook and Twitter, though this is not a required step.

Wednesday’s People’s Choice Awards will be hosted by former “Glee” actress Jane Lynch. The event will feature performances from two of the biggest names in music, Shawn Mendes and Jason Derulo. A-listers Britney Spears, Dakota Johnson, Maddie Ziegler and Vin Diesel will be watching from the audience.
