How To Watch BTS Perform On NPR's Tiny Desk On Sept. 21
K-pop stars BTS are checking another iconic American music venue off their list—at least virtually. BTS will perform on NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series, and it’ll be easy for anyone to watch.
NPR announced Sunday that BTS will join them for the virtual concert. Though Tiny Desk typically is played at an actual small workspace, social distancing has forced the series to go virtual. While still focusing on stripped-down performances, artists have more control over the intimate setting.

Billie Eilish and her brother/collaborator Finneas performed in a replica set while Phoebe Bridgers made her own Oval Office. Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Tame Impala and others utilized their own spaces for their Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts.
To watch the BTS Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, viewers simply have to go to NPR Music’s YouTube channel at 9 a.m. EDT on Sept. 21.
The video will premiere on Monday, but fans are already anxious to see the set. The BTS Army is keeping the chat section lively, and the video already has over 54,000 likes at press time, despite not having premiered.
The BTS Army, as their fans are known, seem excited for the K-pop boy band to do a stripped-down performance. Many on social media hoped that they’d get a chance to just focus on the singers’ voices.
Tiny Desk performers usually perform a 15-20 minute set of about three songs. BTS has not revealed their set list.
Viewers can set a reminder on YouTube to make sure they don’t forget about the premiere.
BTS debuted in 2013 and have become increasingly popular in the U.S. Members include Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook. With "Dynamite," an all-English single, and appearances on American platforms like Tiny Desk and "America's Got Talent," it seems like the K-pop group is hoping to catch the notice of Grammy voters. Nominations are set to be announced this fall.
