How To Watch NYCC Panels At Home From Thursday To Sunday
New York Comic Con and London’s MCM Comic Con are not being held in person this year, but they’re still keeping nerds entertained by going digital. Fans can watch from home this year.
NYCC and MCM have come together to present the Metaverse. The digital pop culture convention has all the staples usually present at New York’s Javitz Center, including exclusive merch, artist alley, and of course, the panels. The one perk of 2020 is not having to wait in line for those panels featuring fan-favorite actors, writers and more.
Luckily, all fans have to do is go to the NYCC YouTube page. Panels are releasing from Thursday through Sunday.
While shows like BBC America’s longrunning hit “Doctor Who” and Hulu’s new Marvel adaptation “Helstrom” will do traditional panels, sessions like Friday’s “Batman Beyond” paid experience gives fans a 1-on-1 chat with their favorite stars. See the full schedule of Metaverse panels.
The virtual experience allows NYCC to go on a bit longer than usual. While Javitz Center usually clears out late Sunday afternoon, panels will release well into the night on Sunday. The final sessions will be about the SFX makeup and art of HBO's series "Lovecraft Country."
