How YouTube Star Jake Paul Reacted To Accusations Of 'Terrorizing' His Neighbors
Disney star and YouTuber Jake Paul hit back at his detractors after neighbors of his West Hollywood rental home accused him of "terrorizing " them with his behavior. The 20-year-old's neighbors in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles threatened to file a class-action public nuisance lawsuit against him.
Paul, who has more than 8 million fans on YouTube, gained fame with his wild prank videos, which often show him and his team performing dangerous stunts. However, these stunts are now becoming a problem for him as his neighbors said they are getting fed up with the noise, local TV station KTLA 5 reports.

According to the report, Paul recently burned furniture in his empty pool, with the flames and smoke billowing higher than his home. The star is also frequently visited by his fans who scream his name outside his home, just to get a glimpse of the YouTube sensation.
Paul has been living in the McMansion-style contemporary house, which reportedly has a rent of $17,459 per month, since June 2016.
"We need to hit these wasters where it hurts them most: their pocketbooks. These Tubeguys are making $$ from people watching their standing-in-street videos. If we all agree to only watch videos taking place inside homes (where let’s face it, they rarely cause congestion), the street video market will quickly tank and they have to rethink their entire business model. But it’s going to take everything in the neighborhood to get this done," complaints on a community message board about Paul and his team reads, according to Mic.
Paul took to his Twitter account to hit back at his neighbors.
While responding to the allegations, Paul also told KTLA: "The neighbors hate me."
"It’s terrible, it’s a bad situation. I feel bad for them, for sure," Paul said of his neighbors, adding: "There's nothing we can do, though — the Jake Paulers are the strongest army out there."
In another tweet, Paul shared a screenshot of text messages exchanged with his mother, who slammed reports that said the star was "terrorizing his neighbors."
“We used to be this really quiet street and now we’re just like this war zone,” one neighbor, Maytal Dahan, told KTLA. “We’re more than happy to have them live here if they’re respectful of their neighbors but they’re not.”
This is not the first time Paul has been involved in a controversy. According to reports, Paul was accused of emotionally abusing his ex-girlfriend, model Alissa Violet, in June and the couple publicly slammed each other on social media. They also released diss tracks to hit back at each other.

Violet accused the star of throwing her and her belongings on the street without warning. She also said Paul still receives 20 percent of her earnings because of a contract she signed when she joined his Team 10 agency.
Twitter users reacted after the neighbors slammed Paul for reportedly turning the neighborhood into a "living hell." Some users thought Paul had been arrested after neighbors complaint against him.
