HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition Launched, First Ever HTC Phone To Feature 21MP Camera, OIS And Laser Autofocus
HTC has launched the One M9+ flagship with enhanced camera features. The new device is dubbed as HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition.
Most of the specifications of the HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition are same as that of the original HTC One M9+ smartphone. The new handset comes with a 5.2 inches display that supports Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The device features the MediaTek MT6795T chipset that is also referred to as Helio X10 SoC. The 64-bti octa-core processor, which is supported by 3 GB of RAM, clocks at 2.2 GHz. The native storage available on the device is 32 GB. On its external storage, users can add up to 2 TB of microSD.
The original HTC One M9+ features a 20-megapixel rear camera but the newer handset features an upgraded camera of 21-megapixel, Phone Arena reported. The One M9+ Supreme Edition is the first ever smartphone from the Taiwanese tech company to feature Optical Image Stabilization.
The upgraded camera supports face detection autofocus with a superfast speed of 0.1 seconds. The rear camera is also coupled with a laser autofocus. The HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition also features an UltraPixel technology powered selfie camera of 4-megapixel.
A fingerprint scanner is embedded on the Home button of the device, which features dual BoomSound stereo speakers on the front panel. It is packed with a non-replaceable battery of 2,840 mAh capacity. According to Tech Grapple, the upgraded HTC One M9+ has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks with a score of 51,336.
The HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition will be available in color options like Gunmetal Grey, Silver and Gold, NDTV reported. The handset will be first available in the home country of Taiwan for a price equivalent to $630. However, there is no confirmation on the availability and pricing of the HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition in the U.S.
