Huawei P10 Full Specs Leak Along With New Renders
The still-unannounced Huawei P10 has surfaced again in newly leaked renders. This time around, however, it appears as though the device’s full specifications have been leaked as well.
The leak indicates that the Huawei P10 will come with a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch 1440p QHD AMOLED display, a considerable step up from 2016’s Huawei P9 which features a 1080p full HD display. The Huawei P10 will be powered by the 64-bit octa-ocre 2.3GHz Kirin 960 system-on-chip (SoC) with a Mali G71 GPU, 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, according to Android Headlines.
As for its external design, the Huawei P10 appears to have a dual-curved display while still retaining the metallic frame. The power button and volume rocker is located on the right side of the handset. Up front is the addition of a home key, which seems a bit redundant considering that the device already has a fingerprint scanner on the back.
Speaking of the back, Huawei P10 is still equipped with a dual-camera system. The cameras are placed exactly in the same spot where the dual cameras are found on the P9. German camera maker Leica is also expected to once again be working with Huawei for the P10’s camera lenses.
On the software side, the device is to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei's latest version of EMUI running on top. There are also rumors going around that the Huawei P10 will come with some form of artificial intelligence technology. Some have speculated that variants of the handset will come with Amazon’s Alexa digital voice assistant, according to Tech Times.
The Huawei P10 will also come with a larger model, the P10 Plus. The P10 Plus will have all the same specs with main entry, and the only major difference is its larger 5.5-inch display size. The Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus are expected to make their first official appearance sometime this March or April.
