Huawei P40: Leaks Quintuple Cameras And 120hz OLED Display

Chinese tech giant Huawei definitely had a tough 2019, but this does not stop the company from pushing forward. Reports claim that Huawei is preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone, and leaks have begun surfacing online.

On the social networking site Twitter, tipster Yash Raj Chaudhary shared the specs of the upcoming flagship smartphone, Huawei P40. The details reveal that the main camera of the device will feature 64 MP Sony IMX686 unit with hardware stabilization. It will be reportedly coupled with a 20 MP ultra-wide module, a 12 MP telephoto lens, a Time of Flight sensor, and a macro camera.

The Huawei P40 is also said to feature 4K video recording support. Earlier, rumors claimed that the upcoming smartphone from the Chinese tech juggernaut will have 8K video recording support, but it might not be happening. In terms of design, the Huawei P40 will reportedly sport a couple of sensors under the dual-punch hole in the front.

This allegedly consists of a main sensor and an ultra-wide camera sensor. But, that’s not all; the tipster also shared that the Huawei P40 is likely to sport a 6.5-inch 2K OLED Waterfall screen. Previous renders showed that the Waterfall display will not be as curved as that found in Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

Another interesting upgrade that was leaked about Huawei P40 is that it will support a 120 Hz refresh rate and a screen to body ratio of 98 percent. But, how will Huawei be able to have all these in one handset and not compromise some of its features? The Huawei P40 will reportedly house a whopping 5500 mAh battery pack made of graphene materials.

Aside from maintaining the slim form factor of the Huawei P40, the battery upgrade will make sure that it could deliver the 120 Hz refresh rate. The upcoming flagship device from Huawei is also anticipated to be underpinned by Kirin 990 5G. All of these details about the Huawei P40 seem impressive, but, the Chinese company might have a hard time selling this outside of China because of the lack of the official version of Android, wccftech believes.
