A surveillance video was shared online showing the moment a huge brown bear beats down the front door of a family home and wanders around the living room. As of Thursday, the video was viewed nearly 4 million times.

The terrifying footage was shared to Twitter by Ohio-based radio presenter Jason Priestas on Saturday. Preistas did not say where the video was filmed.

The 13-second clip starts with the front door of the house being slammed down before a paw appears in the corner to hold it in that position. The massive brown-colored bear entering the home and surveyed its surroundings.

Thankfully, the home was empty at the time. The homeowners discovered the unlikely intrusion when they played back the surveillance footage.

A number of viewers were amused by the incident, while some were terrified. Some users also compared the situation to story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

"He is coming for his porridge!" one user wrote, while another said: "Where are the other two bears?"

One terrified user wrote: "This is actually pretty scary. Nowhere is safe from a brown bear."

In an incident last week, a Colorado man was hospitalized with serious facial injuries after waking up in the middle of the night to discover a grizzly bear in his kitchen.

"I came around to take a peek and sure enough my worst nightmare was from that point," the man, identified as Dave Chernosky, 54, told FOX 31.

The man was attacked on the face by the bear before he managed to break away.

"I ran back to a table at that point and luckily that was able to separate us. I just started screaming as loud as I could. I was very deep, loud and he decided to go. He opened another door and was on his way out," he stated.
