Hunter Biden’s wife Melissa Cohen on Tuesday appeared to indicate that her husband’s health is faring well amid an investigation by federal prosecutors into his foreign business dealings.

In a video shared by BACKGRID to Fox News, Cohen, 35, was asked about her husband’s health while she was picking up dry cleaning in Los Angeles. The South African activist and filmmaker was seen giving a slight nod and a thumbs-up as she climbed into a black SUV.

Cohen appeared to be accompanied by Secret Service agents as she picked up her dry cleaning. Hunter and Cohen met in May 2019. A few days after their first date, Biden had the word “shalom” inked on his left bicep to match the tattoo Cohen had. The pair married at her apartment six days after their first meeting. There were no families in attendance during the wedding. The wedding photos were taken on a friend’s cellphone.

"I instantly fell in love with her. And then I've fallen in love with her more every day," Biden told ABC News in October 2019.

Cohen’s reaction comes as Republicans continuously push to investigate the First Son’s foreign financial ties that surfaced after the New York Post reported about the contents of a laptop that Hunter allegedly left at a computer repair shop in Delaware.

Federal prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware, who launched a probe in 2018, are now seeking grand jury testimony concerning the sources of Hunter’s foreign income, including the Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings Ltd. Hunter served on the company’s board of directions.

Federal prosecutors also questioned one of Hunter’s associates about his alcohol and substance abuse in 2018 as well as his spending habits, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Last week, a witness also stood before a grand jury where prosecutors asked him to identify who the “big guy” was as mentioned in an email dated May 13, 2017, from investor James Gilliar. The email detailed propositions for a business deal with Chinese state-owned energy company CEFC.

Hunter has yet to be charged with a crime related to the prosecutors’ investigation.
