Hurricane Ian Pictures & Videos: A Look At The Incredible Destruction, Despair In Florida
Hurricane Ian swept across southwestern Florida on Wednesday as a powerful Category 4 storm, pummeling everything in its path.
Videos and pictures of the aftermath captured the devastation of one of the strongest hurricanes to hit Florida's west coast. Fort Myers Beach was particularly hard hit.
Some areas are under 3-4 feet of water. Overwhelmed local officials called for federal assistance and President Joe Biden has declared a state of emergency.
Ian has since been downgraded to a tropical storm, but severe rainfall is forecast in southeast Florida.
