Iggy Azalea Denies Dating Tristan Thompson, Says It's 'Very Weird Fake News'

Iggy Azalea has denied rumors that she is in a relationship with Tristan Thompson. The rapper said she do not even know the NBA player.

The 31-year-old Australian rapper took to Twitter on Monday to shut down the rumors. "Very weird fake news making the rounds about me dating a man I've literally never met a DAY in my life…. Like…. _ Y'all are really that bored?!?!" she wrote.

When a user wrote Thompson's name below her post, Azalea replied, "Literally have never even been in the same building as that man. I DO NOT KNOW THAT PERSON."

In another tweet, she added, "Making up baseless lies about people for fun is lame because I’m a real person with my own private life that gets disrupted by b-----it, so I'm actually annoyed."

Fans were quick to show their support to the rapper.

One person wrote, "But iggy don't you know that by getting so mad at them what you really get is making that s--t and those fake news more relevant, just ignore them by," while another fan agreed to her comment, saying, "Exactly, people create these lies knowing she'll gets annoying about that."

Another supportive fan praised the rapper and said, "You may not always get what you want. But remember - many people will never have what you already have. Thanks for the great music you make. You are a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice."

Azalea welcomed her first baby boy, Onyx Kelly, in April 2020. She shares Onyx with her ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti.

Last month, the rapper announced she will not post photos of her son because of the rude comments she was getting.

A day prior to making the announcement, she called out a user who made fun of her son's outfit and wrote, "Imagine being so miserable that you bully a one-year-old child for picking his own outfit. Y’all so corny and bored and it’s really a damn shame."

The four-time Grammy nominee dropped her new music album, "End of an Era," on Aug. 13 under Empire label.
