Image Of Christ With Arms Outstretched Appears In Clouds During Sunset
A man captured the image of Jesus Christ bursting through the sky during sunset in the Italian town of Agropoli on Friday.
Alfredo Lo Brutto, an artist, captured a stunning shot that looked like a glowing image of Jesus with arms outstretched appearing above the sea.
He then shared the photo on Facebook with the title "The Christ of light on the sea of Agropol.”
“I was enchanted by the view. I don’t often share pictures on social media, but when I took this one, I instantly felt like I wanted other people to see, because it was so beautiful,” he said.
The photo went viral, with people saying it resembled the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
"It really looks like Jesus, the head, the arms, congratulations,” one user said, while the other called it a “unique and sensational shot.”
This was not the first time that people have spoken about seeing the Messiah. In 2018, a woman found the image of Jesus on a horseshoe crab shell that was found in a Texas beach. Cathy Rose Rader said she washed it and kept it to dry. A few days later she got a message after which the image appeared.
"I was doing devotionals that I do in the morning. God spoke to me and said 'if you will wait, I will give you perfection',” she said, adding, "I went past it and I noticed something and I looked back and it looked like the face of Jesus and I kind of chuckled to myself and said, 'that's funny,' it kind of does,” CBC 17 reported.
In another incident in 2017, a Pennsylvania couple saw the image of Jesus Christ in their baby’s ultrasound. They said they saw a man dressed in a robe with a crown of thorns.
"When they gave it to us... Umm, to me, it's Jesus. And it looks like Jesus,” Alicia Zeek said, speaking about how she reacted when she saw the image.
Zac Smith, the father, said, "when I seen it, it almost brought tears to my eyes... I was speechless, I just couldn't believe it, I really didn't believe what I was seeing,” Fox43 reported.
