‘Imposters’ Season 1, Episode 10 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In The Finale? [SPOILERS]

The ultimate showdown between the con artists and the FBI takes place in next week’s Season 1, episode 10 of “Imposters.”

According to the synopsis for the finale, con artist Maddie (Inbar Lavi) and FBI agent Patrick (Stephen Bishop) will tie the knot as part of their deal to catch the Doctor (Ray Proscia). But unbeknown to the feds, Maddie, Max (Brian Benben) and the Bumblers, Ezra, Richard and Jules, have their own plan to get away from the authorities and from the Doctor himself.

In Season 1, episode 8, Patrick agreed to Maddie’s plan to lure the Doctor by using half a million dollars as bait. “Gary Heller (Aaron Douglas) was laundering money for the doctor. He was also skimming,” Maddie revealed to Patrick in the episode. “The Doctor thinks he recovered all of it, but when I tell him I found a half a million dollars more of his buried in Heller’s house, he will come to collect.”

But without the FBI’s knowledge, the Doctor won’t really be attending the wedding to collect the money. As revealed at the end of Season 1, episode 9, Max will disguise himself as the Doctor to get the half a million dollars.

While everything seems to be in place, Maddie doesn’t really know whether she can completely trust Max. During a phone call with Richard (Parker Young) last episode, Maddie found out that Max turned on his fellow con artist and lover, Sally (Katherine LaNasa), after she tried to run away with Gary’s money. This huge revelation shook Maddie to her core because she realized that if Max was able to give up the woman he truly loves to the Doctor, then it would be a lot easier for him to betray her and the Bumblers.

Meanwhile, TVLine revealed last month that Lenny Cohen (Uma Thurman) will return to the series in the finale. Lenny’s arrival always means trouble for the con artists working for the Doctor, so it seems that the season finale won’t end well for Maddie, Max and the Bumblers.

“Imposters” Season 1, episode 10, titled “Always Forward, Never Back,” airs on Tuesday, April 11 at 10 p.m. EST on Bravo.
