‘Imposters’ Spoilers: Uma Thurman Makes Her Debut As Lenny Cohen In Episode 3 Sneak Peek
Uma Thurman is bringing some viciousness to “Imposters.”
Thurman makes her debut as Lenny Cohen in next week’s Season 1, episode 3 of the Bravo series, and as seen in a sneak peek from the installment, Lenny is someone who doesn’t mess around.
In the minute-long clip, Lenny is having some alone time at a bar when a male customer offers to buy her a drink. Lenny declines the stranger’s offer, but the self-assured guy won’t take no for an answer.
“Come on, gorgeous — oblige me,” the guy tells Lenny. “Makes me feel like Im not drinking alone.”
“Maybe you should find some friends,” replies Thurman’s leather jacket-clad character.
When the guy asks her if they can be friends, Lenny tries to shut him up by saying: “Go back [to your seat], sit down, mind your own business.”
Despite the serious tone of Lenny’s voice, the guy is unshaken. But when he puts his hand on her shoulder, Lenny had enough. She grabs his right arm, slams it onto the bar and hits it with her elbow. Lenny walks straight away from the bar only to come back to introduce herself to the poor guy: “Oh, the name’s Lenny Cohen.”
According to the synopsis for the episode, Maddie’s (Inbar Lavi) special interest in Patrick (Stephen Bishop) alarms Max (Brian Benben), Sally (Katherine LaNasa) and their boss, the Doctor.
In the preview clip shown right after the airing of this week’s episode, the Doctor weighs in on whether or not he will send Lenny to Seattle to give Maddie a little lesson. Although Lenny’s role in the group of con artists is unclear, it seems that she was the same lady the Doctor sent to Tulsa about 10 years ago to beat up the man Sally fell in love for while on a mission.
